Which is why I find these random question-things interesting. I used to hate them, but I've started to realize even the most mundane questions can elicit interesting and unexpected responses from people you know in strange ways.
Thanks to my friends, Jane Doe and Planet-Maxx for being bored enough to post this one and getting me to think it would be fun for them to see another's answers:
-THE PRESENT-
1. Who were you with last night?
My Men's Group
2. What woke you up this morning?
An Alarm Clock
3. Is tomorrow going to be a good day?
How the heck should I know?
{{Someone at some point as this made the rounds deleted 4 and 5, so I will only say the answers were either yes, no, or Purple spiders}}
6. Did you kiss or hug anyone today?
Alas, no.
7. When’s the last time you cried?
Last night. I started to miss someone I didn't think I missed much.
-THE PAST-
8. Ever thrown up in public?
Indeed I have. Is it particularly sad if I admit I have to ask "Which time do you want me to describe?" Oh, and NONE of the incidents involved alcohol.
9. Passed out because of alcohol?
Not once.
10. What’s on your mind RIGHT NOW?
Would you like a list?
-The FUTURE -
11. Would you take a bullet for anyone?
A shorter list would be people I wouldn't take a bullet for.
12. Where would you like to live?
Portland, Oregon, which was my home for a decade and I had to leave twice under sad circumstances.
13. What kind of home would you like?
One with a lot of space. Even if I'm living with people I love dearly, the more space I have to myself the better off I am.
14. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A professional writer, but I have a LOT of growing up to do before that happens.
15. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Maybe actually graduating college.
16. Who is your number one? And why?
I don't believe in "favorites."
17. Who did you kiss last?
My mom. Don't get any creepy ideas.
18. Who was the last person that left you a comment?
My friend Jax.
19. Are you good friends with this person?
Surprisingly more so every day.
20. How often do you log into wordpress?
I do not have my own account, but since someone I care about has one, typically once or twice a day.
- IN GENERAL -
21.Do you like peanut butter?
Not particularly, but it's a good, cheap source of protein in a pinch, and I'm a vegetarian.
22. When was the last time you fell over or ran into something?
Today. The automatic door at work didn't open, and I didn't notice that.
23. Do you listen to music every day?
Typically.
24. What was the last thing you ate?
Crunchy Corn Squares cereal. Yes, it's almost 11:00 PM, but cereal is a delightful snack.
25. Are you a fast typer?
About average, although I'm self-taught, so actual typists are frightened by the way I place my fingers.
26. About how many people have you liked?
I like people, but I know this is the childish version of "liked," meaning, "had romantic feelings towards." Sadly, this would also be an embarrassingly long list.
27. What are you doing this weekend?
It's the start of my week-long vacation, but I have to admit all I know for certain is that I MIGHT go to a library book sale on Saturday.
28. Whats your favorite type of SODA?
I've found myself quite fond of Diet Mountain Dew, and anyone who has physically met me knows that.
29. Have you ever moved?
Many, many times. I've never lived in one dwelling longer than two years, and I'm thirty-four.
30. Have you ever won an award?
A fair number, back when I was in school.
31. Do you do any sports or other activities that are unusual?
I wouldn't consider sports "unusual." Anyway, I used to play various role-playing games AT LEAST once a week, but I lost my gaming group when I moved from Portland, and haven't found a new one.
32. What do you want to do right now?
Actually, I want to roll dice and pretend I'm some sort of hero.
33. Are you listening to music right now?
No.
34. Whats a word or phrase that you love?
"We can't all, and some of us don't," which Eeyore says to Winnie-the-Pooh in one of A. A. Milne's stories.
35. How many days till your birthday?
Ummmmmmm . . . 148, if you include leap-year and my head calculations are correct.
36. When were you the saddest in your whole life?
A few years ago, when I was diagnosed schizophrenic, and the psychiatrist said, "It'll probably get progressively worse, but it'll be slow."
37. Have you ever had a song written about you?
No, but I inspired my roommate once to write a song. "Godzilla Blues." It was based on a poem I wrote MANY years ago, but neither one of us could ever find the proper lyrics to go with the tune.
38. What song makes you cry?
Huh . . . not sure I've ever been brought to tears by a song.
39. What song cheers you up?
Too many to list.
40. What do you like to listen to before you go to bed?
I read in silence before bed.
41. Do you have a job?
So far.
42. What does Your CD player have in it right now?
Not a thing.
43. What makes you happy?
Cats. Not the musical, but the animals.
44.What’s the next CD you’re gonna get?
I have no idea.
-Appearance-
[Hair:]
Brown.
[Eye Color]
Blue or Green, depending on the lights.
[Piercings:]
Left ear, but it's probably closed up since I get so few chances to wear jewelry. I find pierced eyebrows exciting, but I think I'm a little old to do that, now.
[Tattoos:]
Not a one.
[wearing right now:]
Black slacks, beat-to-death black shoes, and a mostly orange and blue tie-dye t-shirt that has numerous holes in it.
[What taste is in your mouth?]
Diet Mountain Dew.
[Get Motion Sickness]
Not exactly, but shaky camera-work and quick cuts in movies and tv shows have been known to cause me to be nauseous. It's not even an uncommon phenomenon.
[Have a bad habit?]
Yes, but at the moment I've made temporary peace with them, and they wish to be called, "Habits I will one day change."
